efl kupChelsea have been drawn to play Leicester City away in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Antonio Conte’s side progressed courtesy of a 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers and reward is a trip to the Premier League champions, who are under the stewardship of Chelsea former manager Claudio Ranieri.

The game may see N’Golo Kante return to his former club having moved to Stamford Bridge over the summer. It will also be a repeat of the 1965 final when Chelsea won the competition for the first time.

Ties will be played on 20 September.
